Korman, who has been in the Granite City hospital for the past three weeks, having been compelled to undergo an operation for gall stones, was able to be on the streets for the first time on Friday. Mr. Ralston's family are talented musicians and wiil make a desirable addition to Ashland circles. R. II. Poore, a son-in-law of Mr. Ralston, is engaged at the Dreamland as trap drummer. Mrs. Thomas Acklin, who has been visiting at her old home in Jules burg, Colo., surprised her family by walking in upon them Saturday noon. She had not been expected home until after the holidays.
