The forenoon was taken up with singing and a discussion of the coun ty unit plan by Prof. Goin, who ex plained pretty fully the provisions of the law. Mr. Goin is well posted in the law and told us how it wou.d work in this county. He says It wili equalize taxes and reduce them and be a benefit to the small and weaker dl3- trlcts. Mr. Goin Is 'n favor of the law. He also said many useful things for the benefit of tho teachers. This took up most of the forenoon. Two trustees of the Siletz schools were present, W. S. Hall and James Frank, and took part In the meeting.
