AL WAUGH 1 RESOLUTION A resolution setting forth the Inten tion of tho city council of the city of Toledo, Oregon, ,to cause to be con pitruc ted a side walk on Mie West side of Hill Street beginning at tho NoiLh Wde cf ''."le intersection o' Fifth Street with Hill Street and extr -.ding on the West side of Hill Street to a point Fifty Feet North of the intersection of the North Side of Sixth Slroet with the West side of H:il Street and directing the giving of notice thereof. Be it resolvod by the Common Coun cil of the City of Toledo, Oregon, that It Is necessary and expedient that a side walk be constructed in said city on the west side of Hill Street begin ning at the North side oB the inter section of Fifth Stieet with Hill Street and extending on tho West sido of Hill Street to a point fifty feet North of the intersection of the North side of Sixth Street with the West side of Hill street and to be constructed as follows: said sidewalk shall be constructed of sound wood p'onk, two Inches thick, laid cross wise, upon stringers running lengthwise, on solid foundation, 4 In number, said stringers to be at least two Indies thick and six inches wide, set edgeways, the decking to be eight inches wide and to bo laid not further apart than ono-half Inch, and sold walk io be 8 tost in width, and to ho Id!d to conform to the grade and elevation of said street. The cost of the' side walk heroin pro vided for shall he paid by the owners of the abutting property and such work ui'iall be done and tho imaterials fur nished at the expense of the adjacent property. The City Recorder Is hereby directed to give notice for a period of ten days in tho Lincoln County Leader, a news paper published In the City of Toledo, Oregon, o.l the Intention of the City Council to cause to be constructed said side walk which notico shall be to the public in general and td the owners of the adjacent property and shall specify with con van tent certainty the street, or part thereof, or side iwoilk, or cross walk, proposed to be Improv ed, and shall describe 'the kind of Im provement proposed to 'be made, giv ing a description of materials to be used, and the daite of tine first and tho 'last publications of said notice.
