THOMAS BROWN" OF - POOLE SLOUGrf KILTED " Yesterday afternoon at thee o'clock Thomas Brown of Poole slough was killed by piling roll ing over him. He was prepar ing to put the piling into the (water when in knocking the I blocking out, intending to jump out of the way, he was caught by the rolling logs and two. of them rolled over him severely crushing him. He lived but three hours after the accident, j Dr. Burgess was called from this I city but found the injuries were too great and death soon fol lowed. . ! Mr. Brown and family lived' on Poole slough about six miles be low this place, and was one of I Lincoln county's most respected citizens. .He leaves a large fam ily, to mourn his loss.
