FOURTH ANNUAL LINCOLN COUNTY FAIR, TOLEDO. ORE. SEPT 23, 24, 25, 26, 1913. Theie Is a Ci'fercnce In the way you care for a watch. You may have the very best kind of a watch, but if you do not have it cleaned and oiled ence in every twelve or eighteen months it will only last a few years. Why? Be cause the balance wheel of your watch makes 432.000 re volutions every twenty-four hours or 157.680,000 revolu tions each year. You cannot expect those parts of a watch to last long unless thev are cleaned and oiled. Now is the time to have that watch cleaned a id oiled. Jack Pclmulder THE JEWELER Ire cream and cake at the Bon bonisre every Saturday and Sunday. The New School Laws "Have you received the new Bchool laws?" or "1 would like to get one of the new school laws" or "Send me ,one of the new school laws" are questions or requests that I am receiving daily and have been receiving for some time. I still say: I have not received them yet and cannot tell just when I will, but I will send them out as Boon as they come. It seems to us, as though the state printer is need lessly slow but if one of us were there in his Dlace it perhaps wouH be Christmas before we wot Id have them ready to send out. The manuscripts have been in his hands for a month or so and the greater part are now printad. I have the first 168 paes in leaf form, so the time is near when they will be here. R. P. Goin, County School Supt. The New School Supervisor! The County Educational Board met and elected a ne" man for the ensuing year. Prof R.' L Black is the man that will do trie greater part of the field work this year. He is a man with a great deal of ability and experience. This is the third year that supervisors have been put in the field and we have the third man to do the work. He is to receive $100 per month and will work ten months, beginning the 15th of September. The work of .the supervisor 'is pleasant when weather is right and in this covnty it is most of the time, but I h3 roads are sometimes bad. The benefits that are derived depend on the kind of teachers that are employed, if the teachers are strong the help is not needed, but if weak much good can be accom plished by the frequent visits. I would like to see no teacher em ployed except those who need but little if any help. R. P. Goin, Cuunty School Supt. Picture Framing. Baby Carriages. Trunks and Suit Case3 A woman said after using Flea-No-Lite, "I had my best night's sleep since coming to Oregon." NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION. U. S. Landcfiise, Portland, Oregon, 02242. August 22, 1913.
