School Meeting Next Monday We would call your attention to the fact that there js no mc-re im porlant day in the year, so far aa cur community end state ere con cerned, than the annual school meeting day, whith occurs on the 16th of this month. People yet in any form cf government about what they demand, and if only three or four people attend the an nual school meeting, it shows that their demand is lacking;. School officers and teachers become dis couraged and as a consequence, poor results follow. Toledo is justly proud of her schools end in order to keep them at their best it is necessary to have good school officers. Decide on some good men for these respon sible positions and turn out next Monday and help elect them. Don't wait for the other fellow to do it do it yourself. A few schools last year made much of the annual school meeting day; took time to look over their property, suggest improvements, and plan for the future. Do You Want A Creamery? A number of progressive farmers in this vicinity have joined together and formed the Toledo Co-Operative Creumcry Association. These men are working hard to make a success of the organization but are not re cieving the suDDort that they should. This creamery, if built and supported by he farmers and dairymen, ai it should be, will save them many dollars which now go to enrich the Valley creameries. These men who are behind the movement will receive no more for their butterfat than any other member who chooses to join. The plan is to pay all money taken in above acturl expenses to fee farm ers and members selling cream to the institution. Of course the dairyman who is a member will re cieve a little more out of it than the man who is not a member, so it behooves the man whu is selling cream to be a member, otherwise lie will receive only the market price for his product. Twflve hundred dollars' worth of memberships have been sub ascribed, but there still remains a similar amount tu be taken before the directors can commence build ing operations, as it is estimated it will take this much money to put the Dlant in operation and pay for the firbt month'tt butterfat, Now, Mr. Farmer, You who have not taken a membership in this as-ociation. don't you think you are losing more than the price of a membership each year in shipping your cream to the outbide creamer ies? Don't you think it would be money in your pocket to come for ward and tako a membership in this association instead of holding back and holding the matter up? Think this over, Mr. Farmer and Dairyman, then come forward and invest twenty-five dollars in a mem bership. If ycu haven't the read cash, your note will be acceptable to the association. I his is your epportunity, Mr. Farmer, are vou going to grasp it, or arc you going to let tho matter drop for want of your support? If there is anything about the association you do not understand, you are invited to meet with the directors at the City Hall in To ledo, Saturday, June 21st at 1 o'clock p. m.
