Closing Exercises The closing exercises of the To ledo public schools were held at Woodmen Hall last Saturday even ing. The program, which follows, was interesting and showed tireless efforts in preparation by the pupils and the teachers. At the close of the program Principal Weber pre sented the Eighth Grade diplomas to the banner eighth grade class of the state. Of thirteen members of this class ten passed and received their diplomas. Great credit is due the teacher, Mrs. R. P. Goin, for the high standing of this class. The pupils and patrons of the school are pleased to learn that Mrs. Goin has concluded to teach the coming school year. Toledo is proud of the show ing made by all the teaches the past year. Principal Weber will stay with U3 another year, as will also Mrs. Goin and Miss Edith Har rison. Misses Sharman, Merrell and Copeland will not be with us, not because they were not urged but because cf oth"r d i-1' cil!in'T them. They are all first class in structors and all regret having them leave us. We have not learned the names of the new members of th e teaching corps for next year.
