A large crew of men have been very busy.' fixing the grounds and all other committes are busy. . The Btock sheds are about completed! a race track is being built, the gates and bridges to the ground are built, the tents are here and will be set up, the water piped to the grounds, and then everything is ready for tl e ex hibits. - " The railroad company will foward exhibits at one rate to the Fair and return them free of charge. On perishable exhibits that are not re turned the freight will be refunded. Now there is nothing to do but to get your exhibits ready, ship them, put the family into the wagon or boat and come to the Fair. The program for the three days: WEDNESDAY School Day The Fair and Festival will be opened at 9 o'clock a. in., by an Address by Governor F. W. Benson. Egbert of Siletz went through Tudesday to the Grand Ronde Indian reserva tion where he has been authorized by the Government to close up the Agency business at that place, the agency having been discontinued.
