Frank A. Thompson, Commiss ioner of Lincoln county during the past four years, retired from official life last Wednesday. That Mr. Thompson has made a good Com missioner is evident by the high es teem in which he is held not only by the other members of the Court but by every citizen of the county. During Mr. Thompson's term of olliee the county lias kept up the improvement of roads and bridges and decreased the county debt until now it is practically out of debt, for which Mr. Thompson and the other uietnlierg of the Court receive due credit.
