In the matter of appointing a Super intendent of Dykes .for the Olalla Dyk ing district No. 1 Lincoln county Ore gon. It duly appearing that a large per cent of the property owners in said dyking district have petitioned for the appointment of I. B. McJunkin as Sup erintendent of dykes iu said district and it further appearing he is a pro- jporty or land owner therein and is fully qualified for such position, it is ordered that said I. B. McJunkin be and he is hereby appointed Superiu tendent of dykes iu said dyking district for the year 1908. It is further ordered that said Super intendent of dykes in behalf of said district notify the bondsmen of J. W. Parrish, contractor for building a dam and dyke for said dyking district, to either proceed to build said dam and dyke according to the plans and speci fications thereof and the contract of J- VV. Parrish with said dyking district, entered into through the county court acting for said dyking district, all of which are now on file in the County Clerk's ofliceof said county, or pay the sum of 2U00.00 to the County Treasurer for the benefit of said dyking district per the terms of said bond; and in case said bonds-men shall so fail to fulfill the terms of their said undertaking, then the said Superinten dent in behalf of said dyking district is hereby authorized to take any and all necessary steps as may be necessary to force the fufillment of said under taking on the part of the sureties there in. And said Superintendent of dykes is hereby authorized to take any and all necessary legal Bteps as may be necessary to enforce the terms of said contract and said undertaking, on the part of said dvking district..'
