Henry Gannon, Sondre Romtvedtand Robert Mann went to Oregon City Tues day on a land contest. The former also went to Portland to attend the Ma sonic Grand Lodge. - . Obituary. Levi W. Hunt died at his home oh Little Elk, June 11, 1904. He bad not been very strong for a long time, but was not bedfast until just a few days before he died. He was buried in the private cemetery on Mr. Eddy's place June 12. -The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bristol of Toledo. ' Mr. Hunt was born in Campaign county, Ohio, Nov. 18, 1825. .He was married Sept. 4, 1847 to Mary P. Ringon and moved to Page county, Iowa, in 1853. He crossed the plains with an ox lea in in 1864 and came to Little Elk in 1806, where he has resided until his death. His wife died about 12 years ago. Three children survive him Mrs. Ellenor Hadden, whose home is at Ly mis, Or., and A. B. and Marion Hunt of Eddyville. Mr. Haut will be remembered for his acts of charity and his kind disposition.
