Plank and Willard Tucker came in Momlay from the former's farmstead on Mill creek, where they had been busy for two weeks building a house and making other improvements. Two or three of our citizens appear to be feeling about as well as usual. The rest are more or less afflicted with severe colds or grip, caused by winds coming from the chilly and 6ickly cast. ' Goorge Landretu returned Monday evening from a businesi trip to Port land. While there he purchased a fine new piano for the local Woodmen of the World, which is expected to arrive to night. Lincoln county's timber belt will cer tainly be connected with tho outside world in some manner in the not distant future. If property in Lincoln county was taxed according to tho value placed upon it by the owners when approached by prospective purchasers, taxes would bo high, sure enough. It is a common complaint among homesoekers that do Riiablo Lincolu county real estato is held at a figure that compels them to look elsewhere for a location.
