died at 7 o'clock this morning. Ills
wife, Ruble Diaz, and their son, Por
flrio Diaz, Jr., and the hitter's wife,

Tho revolution led by General
Francisco I. Madoro, Jr., brought
about Diaz's pledge to resign In n
bargain for peace. When ho did not
resign on tho day hu promised, his
palaco was stormed. He resigned
tho next day, In May, 1011. Leon

him. Diaz was 3H years master of
Mexico.
