The prohibitionists ask you to adopt an amend
ment to the State Constitution to prohibit the
manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages,
except for medical, mechanical and sacra
mental uses.
The adoption of this amendment means the
entire wiping outot the present splendid home
rule and local option laws.
Thereafter the regulation and control of the liquor
traffic in Oregon would pass from cities and towns
and be retained exclusively by the stale.
