Simpson of North Uend. The stock pur chased by Mr. Simpson was from Mr. Rogers' ranch on Coos River. Mr. Rogers reports a very busy season up the river at tho present time, everyono being busy gather ing spuds and picking npples. In conversation Mr. Rogers spoke of his trip to Arizona last win ter, In which 'ho was really sur prised to see the wonders worked In that section o! tho country through Irrigation. Nevertheless, with all the irrigation and its won ders, Mr. Rogers would sooner trust his crops to good old Coos Hay rnlns, than to any of the Irrigation projects lu Southern California or Arizona.
