Tlio Daptist, Christian, Methodist and Presbyterian churches of Marsh, Jleld have engaged Rev. Dan Shannon to conduct a series of Evangelistic meetings to commence In February. They are arranging to build "a taber nacle on Anderson avenue, near the Chandler hotel, that will hold about two thousand people. A platform accommodating about two hundred singers will be a feature of this tabernacle. The Shannon meetings closed at North Bend last evening when the revivalist addressed the converts. Whtlo not open for converts, It is said that eighteen additional ones went forward. It is said that ip all, ho He, vice-chairman; L. W. converted 325 in North Bend and 'secretary; Milo Sumner, that 125 of the number are men. The expense of the Tabernacle there was $870 which is all paid. Itev. Shan nan was given a free will offering of ?700. Next week, the Evangelist will go to California and will begin In Marshfield the middle of February.
