Missed Train. Klondyke Elliott,
who was to, answer in circuit court

ing at A. Bastendorf, missed this
morning's train to Coqullle by about
two minutes. He Is out on bonds and
he telephoned to Sheriff Gage ex
plaining why he couldn't appear. Un
der the circumstances, he will prob
ably escape penalty for not appearing
in court at the time scheduled.

pretended to predict tho future from
