morning for Roseburg on a busi
ness trip. Ho was persuaded to
buy a tlckot over the Coos Bay
wagon road by tho very affable
agent, Otto Schettor. Al Intended
to walk out but the glib agent
portrayed so vividly tho sconlc
grandeurs of his route that Mr.
Smith was convinced thoro was
nothing so picturesque in any
other part of tho world, so ho
bought two tlckots for himself,
fearing ono would not be sufficient
to carry him through this glorious
panoramic route.
