Tires of Living OnCharity ancfi Files Divorce Petition At Roseburg. ROSEBURG, Ore., Aug. 21. That she has been an object of charity over since her marriage at Looking Glass in March, 1889, is one of the allega tions in a suit for divorce filed In the? circuit court here by Nettie Gronofc against David Grenot. In her com plaint, Mrs. Grenot states that her husband "has utterly failed to pro vide for her ever slnco their marriago? or for their children," three In num ber; that at no time havo they had? sufficient clothing; that their table was so scant they were often obliged? to go hungry, and that she "was made to suffer the disgrace and hu miliation of eccepting whatever? might be given her by neighbors."" Mrs. Grenot also alleges that her husband falsely accused her of inflV dellty and that he cursed her fre quently and denied the parentage oE their youngest child, one year oldZ. Their domestic troubles reached as climax, however, on July 1, of thfsc year, according to Mrs. Grenoffs complaint, when her husband, In a fit of passion, broke up the few remain ing dishes in the house, whereupon: she left him. Since then, she saysv she has worked to support herselfT and children. Grenot Is employed on tho locaE water and light system at a salary of $50 per month. She asks $10 per month alimony from him, also for the custody of the children and to be decreed sole owner of 159 acres of land at Looking Glass.
