damaged by Are, originating In the
roof evidently from a spark from the
chimney. A largo hole was burned
In the roof but the blaze was extin
guished before serious damage was

health, Mrs. Simpson having been ill
for several weeks from a gathering

Marshfield, were entertained at din
ner Wednesday by Mr. and Mrs Rob
ert McCann of North Be,nd. The
Gulovsons will leave, next Tuesday
for Portland to make their future
home. Mr. Gulovson was thirty
two years In tho employ of the E, B.
Dean Lumber Company which was
succeeded a few years ago by the C.
A. Smith Company.
