The North Bend grocery stores, which like the other business houses of that city, will bo closed Saturday in honor of Decoration Day. However, on ac count of it being Saturday, the pro prietors havo decided to open at G o'clock in tho ovonlng and remain open until tho trade is supplied for Sunday. Ferry Nearly Done. Judgo Hall stated today that ho had been in formed that tho new ferry boat would bo ready for launching in a few days. Tho other work will bo rushed and It is hoped to have it in opera tion soon. Tho physicians, after a consulta tion, decided that tho poisoning was from Rhododendrons. JUDGE C. A. SHELBREDE received a telegram from Sirs. Sohlbrede this morning announcing her safo arrival at Seattle from Alaska. She had a good trip. She will spend a few days In Seattlo, then come to Portland where sho will visit with Sir.
