Output Reaches 253,159 Feet of Lumber Daily Which Ex ceeds Planned Capacity. The C. A. Smith mill made its rec ord cut of lumber on Monday, May 4, when 253,159 feet passed the saws and sizers and entered the finished product of commerce. Accomplishing this unusual record in so short a time from the commen cement of operations of a new mill of large capacity is a remarkablo acnlevement. Tho mill was planned Oren and Superintendent Mereen and their splendid staff of assistants in all departments. In speaking with a Times report er, Manager Oren said that whilo they were gratified with the show ing they were not yet satisfied, but hoped to still further increase tho output within the next few weeks, for 250,000 feet as the days work and within a few weeks with all new machinery and much of It of a char acter that was unfamiliar to tho workmen tho days cut exceeds tho planned capacity by 3,159 feet. It reilects great credit on Manager MESSIAH Chorus Ladies' rehear sal is postponed to Monday at 2 p.m., at studio of Mr. Todd, on ac count of funeral of Mrs. Owen. Farmers!
