Bridges, just prior to his depart ure on the M. F. Plant for San Fran cisco, had relinquished his twenty year lease on Peter Gulovson's prop ertj at the southwest coiner Broad way and 'C streets. Mr. Bridges, through his agents, Stutsman and Company, however, announces Hhat tho action does not mean that he will leave Marshfleld or give up his proposed building. It Is stated that he has another site that he deems better for his venture. It Is also announced that Mr. Bridges will return with his family from 'Frisco In about two weeks and will be In readiness to begin building operations at once on the new site. The Title Guarantee and Abstract Company will shortly move into the building on Front street, which was vacated by the Flanagan and Bennett bank. Negotiations are now on for the leasing of the quarters now occupied by the Title Guarantee and Abstract Company. Stage to Sunset Bay. Announce ment was made today that commenc ing Monday, May 3d, the North Bend Stables will operate a stage regular ly between Coos Bay and Sunset 'Bay, leaving Coos Bay on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. This will be a great convenience to pleas ure parties desiring to secure the advantages of Sunset Bay a3 a resort for little outings. No Council. No meeting of the council was held last evening, City Recorder Upton being busy at court at Coqullle. At the next session, It is expected that the proposed West Marshfleld and Balnes street sewage systems will come up for discussion, City Engineer Sandberg now being busy preparing plana for them. The West Marshfleld sewer is to empty into Mill Slough and the Bain street system Into Coal Bank Slough. IWurns With Bride. Waldo L. Waloy, manager of the Coos Bay Bed ding and Upholstery Company, has returned from tho East and much to tho surprise of friends here brought with him a bride, he and Miss Grace Merriman having been united in marriage at her home In Chicago a few weeks ago. NORTH BEND NEWS Mrs. Nelson of North Inlet, was a North Bend shopper yesterday. The schooner Advent, which load ed here will sail sometime today for San Francisco. Dr. O. E. Smith of Eugeno, who la visiting here, went to Marshfleld yes terday on business. Miss Emma Jacobson spent yes terday with her mother, Mrs. Hun ter, in North Bend. A. B. Daly of Marshfield was hero yesterday looking after business In terests In North Bend and Porter. Mrs. Evan Hodson of South Coos River, who was quite 111 at her homo last week is reported improving. Lacey of North Bend, when the latter was at tending college in Nebraska. W. A. Willard, who was foreman of the Dean Lumber Company's mill twenty years ago, has written friends here that he now has a nice farm at Sumner, Wash., and Is enjoying rural life, Two of his daughters, Bollo and Mamie are married while Ralph and Hulda, his other children, aro still at home.
