WHLIHQ HOUSE KSTR0YEB IY FIRE The small dwelling house near the Free Methodist church occupied by Charles Wnterhouse and family was der sioyed by fire early yesterday marning, nil the contents of the house being saved. The building was owned by J.T. Smith. Mr, Waterhotise and his family escaped without any injury, beyond the jnconve nicnce and discomfort qf moving their residence at four o'clock in thr morning, I he fire caught from a defective flue passing through the roof of the building. One of the small Waterhotise children was sick during the night, and Mrs. W.v terhousc had a fire going at three o'clock in the morning. An hour later it was discovered (hat the house was on fire, and there was just time to gather together and save the contents of the building, with the assislar.co of ncixhbois vvho were aroused by the call of "fire."
