WILL BEGIN DRILLING SOON
The Madias Oil & Gas Co. expects to
resume drilling at their well on the West
slope of Grizzly in the next week or so.
They have secured the services of S. L.
Heck, an experienced oil well driller, and
he is expected to arrive here in n few
days
'The new Star drilling outfit arrived at
Shaniko some tunc ago and it is now be
nig set-up at the well. The machinery
will nil be in place by the time Mr. Heck
arrives, and drilling will be resumed at
once
The well at the prrscnt lime is down
only 15a feet, work having hcen Mispend
co until the heavier machinery could he
procured The new machinery has
capacity of about 3000 (eet in depth, and
no further trouble is anticipated.
