IN COURT AGAIN
New York, Feb. 28 Justice Gaynor, in Brooklyn,
in the supreme court today, adjourned the habeas corpus
proceedings in the case of Nau Patterson until Wednes
day, owing to the inability of Assistant District Attorney
Rand to be present. The young actress was brought over
from the Tombs in a cab and was met in the courtroom by
her father, who kissed her tenderly. Her face shows the
effects of her long confinemeut, but she seemed delighted
to secure even the temporary release from prison quarters.
