H. Bingham, of Lane, has introduced more bills in the legislature so far than the entire dele gation put together. Following are few of bis bills introduced recently : 4 60 To re-establish the southern boundary 60 10 of Lane county so as to include withi the boundary that ptrt of the Bohemia mines which is located in Douglas 4 50 4 60 county. To amend section 1 of an act entitled 4 60 "An act to amend sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 4 60 6 and 7 of an act entitled 'An act provide for the issuance of bonds for improvement of streets and laying sewers in incorporated cities, and 4 60 4 60 the payment ol costs of such improve ments and laying of sewers by install To fix the traveling expenses of the county school saperintendant of Lane county and to provide for the manner of paying stenographic or clerical services of the same officer. To provide for additional circuit judge for the second judicial district. The Second Judicial District now com prises Lane, Douglas, Coos, Curry, Lin coln and Benton counties. Judge J. W. Hamilton is the only circuit judge in the district. By the bill of Representa tive Bingham a second judge is to be appointed, as the territory is alleged to be too large for one jndge to cover.
