It Las been ascertained that the
President's speech at Pitt6bcrg in
reference to the trust question was
merely the forerunner of determined
efforts by him to have Congress take
np that subject and enact definite
legislation at its next session for the
control or supervision of trusts.

stitutional law is admitted, at which
Mr. Littlelield was invited to pre
pare a bill for the regulation and
control of trusts that will go before
congress with the endorsement and
influence of the President back of it.
The bill will be submitted at the be
ginning of the next session, but be
fore this is done, the President, At
torney General Knox and Mr. Little
field will have frequent conferences
as to details.
In addition to this proposed ac
tion, the President is going to talk
