FRIDAY. MARCH 6. 15*03. PROSPECTS II ECHO miles from town, at clearing brush ami timber from the land. The tim ber is in patehes. so a close estimate cannot be made of its extent, but Mr. Scales expects to have 20 acres cleared this summer, it is all very rich land, much more valuable under cultivation than it can be in timber. Mr .Scales owns 1,300 acres of land and 1,500 sheep. The sheep are en tirely free from disease and are look ing finely.
