passed the Senate. We learn that it
is not all the originators desired.
The State Fair Is over and was a
success, but the receipts lacked consid­
erably of coming up to last year’s.
Our folks are returning home, and
seem well satisfied with the affair, if
we except the beating of our horses,
which they didn’t relish, of course.
