solution ol it than is contained in

it will accomplish what is claimed
fhr it. there is but little donbt Its
efficacy has been tried by several
crentlemeu in this citv and satis
factorily proven. The remedy sug-
eested is cheap, too. A barrel ol
fci-sulnhate of carbon can be laid
down at the depot platform for $50
or $60 at the ontside, and a barrel
will., exterminate all the docs in
the countv. It is a powerful sub
stance, and a very small amount is
all that is necessary to destroy a
uliole family. A lumy of lint cot-
ttm as larsre as an ordinary sized
apple saturated with it and placed
in the doorway of the little ani
mal's underground dwelling, and
the entrance stopped up so the
fumes will not escape,will anni
hilate every ttor in the hole. If
the farmers will get together now
