State of Oregon, at B W Barnes Building, N 3rd. in said school district, fcr the purpose of submitting to the legal voters of said district the question of increasing the tax levy for the year 1943 over the amount limited by section 11, article XI. of the Constitution of Oregon. The reasons for increasing such levy are: Increased cost of fuel, school supplies, labor, transportation building maintenance, salaries to meet increased living costs. To off set less of funds derived from County School fund Addition of two teachers to faculty because of increased enrollment. To Be Fire Warden Ted Koehler, who spent the past winter at the Albert Meier home, left Friday to serve as a fire warden near Nashville during the summer season. He served there last year and this year was pro moted. He will have several men under him To Graduate Friday Louis Wetzel, who also spent the winter in the Meier home, will graduate from the Multnomah School of the Bible, Friday.
