Farmers* Union Meetings to Resume The Washington County Farmer- Union will resume its schedule ot regular monthly meetings with a session set for Saturday night Sep tember 30. it was announced this week by Edna Corey, secretary. Tne meetings were discontinued during summer months due to the pressure Laurel-Scholls Farmers' Union of har-. esting and other farm work. Juniors met last Thursday evening at the Laurel hall. Plans for the fall and winter ac tivities were discussed selected Clarence Waibel chairman of the activity committee with Evelyn PL Celestine Waibel and Ed Setniker as assistants.
