Two mysterious robberies a t
Beaverton were unraveled by dep­
uties from the office of Sheriff
John Connell Saturday night with
the arrest of three minors and
the recovery of loot from the E rick­
son garage, entered in July, and
the Guy C arr garage, burglarized
September 21.
In Juvenile court Monday before
Judge Donald T Templeton, the
boys pleaded guilty and sentence
was indefinitely postponed pend­
ing good behavior.
The boys are said to have ad­
mitted using a truck in the first
robbery and bicycles in the last

recovered in various spots in the
surrounding woods. A typew riter
and adding machine were among
the things taken from the E rick­
son garage, while tires, batteries,
tools and other items w ere stolen
in the last robbery.
Two other boys from the east
end of the county also w ere a r­
rested by sheriffs deputies S atu r­
day night following an alleged raid
on the Cash Johnson melon paten
east of Beaverton.
In juvenile court the youths ad­
mitted their raid and agreed to
pay the cost of the melons. Sen­
tence also was postponed in their
