reach a certain quota in Red Gross mem­
berships. and the principal towns are also
given a quota to reach during National
Red Gross m em bership drive. Armistice
Day to Thanksgiving. In view of this fact,
all residents of the county should buy
their m em berships in W asington county,
as part of this money comes back to the
county for relief work and disaster. Port­
land is staging a drive early in October.
