Feb. 28—(Special)—Irene Buckley and Belle Taggart of Hillsboro par ticipated in the recent program of interpretative dances given by twen ty-five girls in the Woman’s build ing of the Vriveraity of Oregon. These girls are members of Orchesus, the advanced dancing organization that sponsored the program. The dances were given for the benefit of the Orchesus scholarship fund. The society, which is one of a number of similar groups in other universities, sends each year one Oregon student to the University of Wisconsin for a summer of study in interpretative dancing.
