He was born in Denmark, November 17, 1346, 1 nd came to America in last. A f ter living a year in Manitoba In- came to the \\ illauicttc \ alley and settled at R« edville, w hen for several years he was associ ited with the Ladd A Reed 1 arm Co’s holdings. H< was united in marriage to Mari E. Elliott, S< pt 27, 1833. They resided at Reed 1 ¡lie for many years, finally moi ing to Hillsboro. In 1905 he suf fered a stroke of paralysis ami since that date has l>e< 11 a help less invalid. He was uncomplain ing in his hrlplrssness.
