At the meeting of the Hillsboro
Club Tuesday evening Chas. F..
Wells was elected President and
M. P. Cady vice president. The
resignation of E. L. Moore as
president was accented. Mr.
Moore asked to be relieved fron
the office as his duties would keep
hint away from Hillsboro for
some time. 1 he retiring execu
tive has seen the Club have a
wonderful trrowth and activity
under his administration, and the
membership some weeks ago de
clined to accept his dictum that
he he retired. As important mat
ters were under way, and as Mr.
Moore asked the second time to
be released, his wish was granted.
