A .salary scale suggested by County Supt. Ascr, of Jackson County, of his teachers was pre sented to the association and dis cussed at some length. Mrs. Hanley was t-nroute to the bedside, but did not arrive until after he pas'rd. He is survived by his widow, Fillic Hagley Han ley, and the folloyiu cliililnii: Clarence, Arthur and Bessie.
