F.nslcy, August lei. l!Mf. lie was bom in Jackson County, N. C, Nov. 8, 1S77, and was married in 1899 to Cora May F.nslcy. Tin wife and seven children survive. His parents live in Washington state, and he leaves four sistcj-s and a brother. He has been on the coast ten years, and has be.-n a member of the Baptist Church, at Independence, Oregon, since 1S10. The funeral took place Tuesday from the Limber Un dertaking Parlors, Rev. J, T, An derson officiating at the service. Interment was in the Odd Fel lows Cemetery. He will be absent about a month. "Nulade" Oregon eggs are bringing f!4 cents a dozen whi n marketed by the Oregon Poultry Producers association of 250 members, represenlinir 75,000 hens. Every egg is candled, graded and stamped, and repre sents as perfect an egg as can be produced. Portland retailers buck the association, as eggs have long been away under Seattle at d San Francisco prices in Portland while feeds were generally a lit tle hiither. the 4000 cows on test in Ore gon slumped an average of Oy.G'.'l pounds of milk and 1.8!) pounds of fat in June, because of failing pastures. This was a loss of near ly $7000 in fat alone, and could have been prevented largely by feeding a little grain or silujje. A good grain ration, says E. L. Westover, in charge of testing, is parts barley, 4 oats, and 1 lin seed or cottonseed meal or 2 of eocoanut meal. J. B.
