STATE CHAM. COMMERCE A Membership Drive for the Ore gon State Chamber of Commerce lias been launched by John I.. Ktheridge, of Portland, State Chairman of the Membership (. oinmittec. During the past month an of fice force, working overtime, has been perfecting the Committees Organization for securing mem bers for , the new Chamber. A large room has been set aside specially for this purpose by Mr. Etheridge, Manager and Vice President, Morris Bros., Inc., Bond House, in the Morris Bldg., SOS) Stark St., Portland. The aim is to secure Individual Memberships from the represent ative citizens of every town, com munity and rural district of Ore gon, and Organization "Member ships from every local, commer cial or development body. "Every organization whose purpose it is to advance the development of its local community or of the entire state should be affiliated. "There are three classes of Memberships : First, Commercial, comprising local Chambers of Commerce and Commercial Clubs; second, Asso ciation, being associations organ ized for promoting any indust rial, airricultural or other indus tries and not organized for pri vate purposes; and tinallv, the fnrlhiilii.il. non-voting Member ships. The annual fee for the Commercial Membership is $10 for each one hundred members and $10 additional for each addi tional fraction thereof. The fee for Association Memberships is 20 per year. An annual mini mum fee of $5 is to be paid by the Individual non-voting members.
