He told of the five million mem hers and of the magnificent work the Northwest is doing. Mrs. C. D. Stimson, of Seattle, manager of division, with headquarters at Seattle, delivered an address re plete with information of the work in progress. Less red tape and greater efficiency in filling the orders from the National Red Cross has been the motto since reorganization under the direction of Henry P. Davidson, appointed by President Wilson Mrs. Lucy Hilton, director of the Woman's Bureau, told of her challenge of the women of the Last and she stated that the Northwest division had filled its quota quicker than the Erst, notwithstanding the East had said the women of the North west were nol properly in the spirit of Red Cross work.
