Twenty members of the local Pythian Sisters Temple visited Yamhill last Thursday night, and initiated a class of twenty-two into the Yamhill Temple per haps the largest class initiated at one time in any Temple in the state. Some made the trip in autos, and all were royally enter tained by the Yamhill Sisters. W. II. French, of Forest Grove, has sued Catherine French for divorce. He alleges in his com plaint that the wife has been guilty of cruelty and inhuman treatment, and that while she is a good housekeeper she has many times refused to keep the house in condition, and has also been negligent about getting his meals. He also says she has several times said she would take poison, and altogether, her con duct has caused him much an guish. They were married in Pendleton in 1910. The Associated Charities, off Portland, has been sending chil dren of poor people to out-of- town places, where the little people can have a 10 days or two weeks vacation. Several Oregon towns have responded nobly, and many little ones have been made happy.
