He came to Oregon many years ago, and settled at Tualatin, where his wife is now buried. All Are Welcome MAROAkKTHRA R. HRSSR Mrs. Margarethea E. Hesse was born in Prussia, Germany. Sept. 9. IS 18, and died March 12. 101:5. In January 1870, she came to Highland, Illinois. On March P5, 1572, she was united in marriage to Christopher F. Hesse, hour years later the family moved to Oregon, residing at Forest Grove two years. The family then moved to Seholls. residing there continuously. The last four years of her iife Mrs. Hesse had been an invalid. She was a membet of the German Lutheran Church. She was the mother of five children, one daughter dying in infancy. She leaves to mourn her loss the husband, three sons, William G., Louis M. and Henry 1.. and one daugnter, Mrs. Wal ter Heaton. The children all re side near Scholls. The funeral was held from the Farmineton M. E. Church, Fri day, March 14, interment being in the Lewis cemetery, at Farm ington. The inventory ot the estate of the late James H. Sewell has been filed in probate court.
