Hillsboro beat the Ranks team by a score of 4 to 0, Nick Williams was in the eame for the Cardinals, and pitched gilt-edjre ball all the time. Mar tin, released from Forest Grove, pitched for Banks. Cornelius beat the Forest Grove Colts bv a score of 18 to 5. The directors and president of the league have agreed that the season closed with last Sunday's games, and hereafter there may be independent ball. The cause of the annulment of further games was the fact that the teams were not getting the sup port they enjoyed earlier in the season and the season was too lengthy, anyway.
