James Churchill, of Gales
Creek, doesn't go out to get ven
ison or wild game, for the
denizens of the forest come to
his ranch. The other day a deer
ran into his backyard and be
coming tangled in a woven w ire
fence, broke its neck. James
had venison without going after
it. A short time back Churchill
killed a wildcat that was prowl
ing around his chicken house,
and a little later killed a bear
that invaded his barnyard.
Just ask Emrick & Corwin to
see one of their new gopher
traps. Gets them every time
and there is no chance of shoot
