The happy couple accompanied
by Mr. F. H. Keenan and Miss
Nellie Westcott, who acted cp

in to the etrains of a beautiful
wedding march and took their
place under an arch of cedar and
white ropes. The ceremony wcb
performed by Rev. Belknap, of
llillsboro, in the presence of about
fifty invited Rtieets. The bride was
benutiful in a pown of cream. The
room was tastefully decorated in

Mr. and Mrs. Miller were the re

A few weeks ago Mr. Lillian Bond,
of Forest Grove, sued Sheriff Con
nell and B. F. Wagley each for ten
thousand dollars damage', the wo
man alleging that Wagley had
thrown ber out of a reetaurant at
Forest Grove. She alleged that
Connell, without warrant of law,
evicted her from the place, aod Bhe
mado geparate Buita againBt both.
Yesterday morning Clerk of the
Court Godman received written
notice from Mrs. Bond, asking the
Court to diemies, and acknowl
edging full satisfaction.
This was the case wherein 'Wag
ley staked the woman to a restau
rant in Forest Grove, tbe woman
to get a portion of the profits. Mrs.
Bond's husband appeared on tbe
scene ofter a few weeks and from
then on there were "fireworks"
around that little eating house. It
ended by Wag'ey putting the wo
man out of the plane. The damage
euita followed. Thus ends two of
the largest damage suits ever filed
in tbe county.
