State supreme court ha granted leave
to the state of Washington to file an
original bill for an injunction against
the Great Northern Railway Company,
the Northern Pacific Railway Company
and the Northern Securitiee Company,
in connection with the petition of that

Chief Justice Fuller, who stated that
the court had always exercised the ut
most care in its proceeding in original

Court Martial for General Smith.

has been ordered for the trial of Gen
eral Jacob H. Smith, who wa in com
