Flayers will be entertained by Cory- don Wagner, Minot Davis and Henry Hewitt, the committee In charge of hospitality. Plans 'already made for outside entertainment include several lunch eons and at least one yaching party with W. 'W. Kilworth. The tennis ball Is beng planned for the Tacoma hotel. Miss Kershaw, president, has an nounced that the hostesses for the annual bridge tea at the clubhouse Wednesday. August 5, will be: Mrs. Paul Savidge, Mrs. D. J. Young, Mrs. Wlllard Morse, Mrs. George F. Heard and Mra. F. A. Haines. The courts of the Tacoma club are placed delightfully and the wide verandas offer shade tor those who watch the play from above. Coulson Hare. , ' A wedding of much interest to the college folk was that of Miss Ethel Langley and Rowland Par ker, which took place at the White temple Thursday afternoon. Dr. O. C. Wright officiated. The ceremony was performed be fore an improvised altar of pink gladiolas, - ferns and ' pink sweet peas. Miss Lucille Murton played the wedding march . and also played softly during the ceremony. . The bride, who entered on the arm of her father, wore a dainty frock of white. Mrs. Parker is a former student of the Oregon agri cultural college, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. i , After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Parkex will make their home in Albany, where Mr. Parker is engaged In business. . . Mrs. George W. McMath "compli mented Miss yella Winner, who has recently returned from California, with, a delightfully informal tea, Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. G. J. Frankel, Mrs. Alexander Thompson presided at the tea table. Mrs. George L. Williams assisted in re ceiving. ' Dr. and Mrs. S. M. Strohecker en tertained recently for their son Samuel, who is home from West Point. ' . Mrs. Val Mathews entertained at her home at Ocean Park, Washj, for Mrs. Bentley, Mrs. Anthony Berry and others. A delightful night was enjoyed with music, dancing - and refreshments. -- : . Alpha Kappa of Alpha Chi Omega will give a silver tea next Wednes day afternoon at the home of Freda Goodrich, 662 East Twenty-fourth street North. Mrs.D. T. Fe'tt. presi dent of the Portland alumnae chap ter of the fraternity, and Mrs. A. G. Bates will pour, and they will be assisted , in serving by a num ber of sorority girls. A programme of music and dances has been ar ranged by members of Alpha Kappa. Tea hours will be from 2:30 to 6:30. All active alumnae and visiting Al pha Chi Omegas in the city and their friends are invited. Mr. and Mrs. Franjc G.
