Monday Night Dancing Delightful
' Event for Vacationists.
SEAVIEW, Wash., July 29. (Spe
cial.) All who attended the dance
here Monday night enjoyed a, real
treat,, for instead of being just an
ordinary dance it proved to be a
cabaret 'as well. Miss Reba Dosier
a visitor from Portland, played the
piano and sang and Miss Lucille
Stone of Ilwaco joined in the enter
tainment with whistling and sing'
ing, and it was not long until the-
hall was crowded and all were doing
their share of the entertainment.
These dances are most interesting
for the Paul Jones is never left o
the programme and adds much to
the spirit of friendliness which al
ways is noticeable at gatherings
held here.

Interesting Event Held by Ocean
Park Methodists.
OCEAX PARK, Wash., July 29.
(Special.) The women of the Ocean
Park Methodist church sponsored an
apron sale and tea which was given
at the church last Friday afternoon.
The affair proved most successful
and was attended by nearly every
resident and visitor in the park.
The invitations iss.ued were minia
ture Swiss aprons and carried with
them a note announcing the fare
and telling the price of admission,
which was a penny for each inch pf
waist measure. This plan, proved
popular and entertaining and netted
$40 for the benefit of the church.
Tea and cakes were served during
the afternoon.
Miss Ada Doernbecher is the house
guest of Miss Frances Gill.
